APEXI AVC-R Help
Hey just woundering all those who have the same boost controller ?
What boost and duty are you running on a stock engine (95 WRX), at the moment mine is running 0.70boost and 23% Duty , but it only ever boosts up to 0.70 after 100mph
And progressivly on the boost its all set to .7bar all the way through the revs
Whats the best boost and duty i should be using ?
Thanks for any info, or even betta progressive boost throu the revs, which should i be setting it to

would up your boost to 0.9 bar and definately increase the duty, it is way to low. Start with your duty at 50 and build up if needs be. IF you find you hit the fuel cut then reduce the duty slightly (a higher duty will give a bit of overboost so if your boost is set to 0.9 then you could get 1 bar on the overboost if you know what I mean). just have a play with different boost and duties jsut dont go silly

I'll try 0.9 but i was told to stay away from 1.0 on a stock engine, plus the fuel cut off is at a BAR isnt it ?
Also have you had a problem with the unit itself, mine wont remmeber A and B settings, so if i want to up the boost or lower i have to do it manually each time instead of having two pre-set settings

fuel cut is just over a bar. You can leave the boost at .7 and play with increasing the duty as doing this you can get over the .7 bar peak but it will or should then drop to hold the .7 bar
How have you wired you avcr up? When I first did mine it had power but wouldnt actually do anything. I ended up connecting the earth directly to the battery and problem was solved. (the scoobs apparently suffer from poor earths)

I cant remember now where i wired the earth to but ill strip it back tomorrow and find out, then maybe try earthing it in a different place and see it this solves the memory problem. I did phone APEXI up at one point and they said it was a common fult with some of the units and there isnt anythin that can be done about it which is nice to know since mines never worked properly
