Hi everyone new 2 forums 2day,well i bought a wrx import in jan for the mrs and we have had alota probs with it,i just recently put it in performance 3000 in yeovil and spent 2,000 on it getting through mot etc [new plugs leads[denso irridium] new fuel pipes, shocks and well the list just goes on but 1 of the main reasons it went to the garage was a hesitation problem when accelerating as soon as it hit 3000 revs it stutters loses power for about 3 secs and then kicks bak in again its not a massive prob but annoying cause i dont know what it is any ideas?The car has been modified and is meant to be running at 320 bhp but it aint at the mo.

And one other thing the car has a dump valve but i cant locate it on car its a different sounding valve to others i have heard a very deepish gushing sound,did they make subaru imports with built in dump valves? thx look forward to hearing ur views.

All subaru turbo`s have dump valves as standard. But they recirculate the air, so they dont make a noise.

Ok so they all have em but im sure my one is not a factory fitted one it is quite loud but just not like others i have heard wher would it be situated on car m8?

Not sure about earlier cars but on my 99 its bolted to the front of the intercooler.

Ok m8 thx i have a bog standard intercooler situated on top of engine so it should be around there then,i will have a look ta
