Up pipe problems, please advise

Up pipe problems, please advise
Having had two standard up-pipes blow on the flexi joint now, I am looking for a replacement that will last longer than two weeks.
I have heard lots of bad things about the stainless steel items, especially the 'Groupe S' up-pipe.
The early Heywood & Scott pipes were solid (no slip joint). Obviously this is going to be stronger/leak proof in the middle. What are the downsides to this - ie will it leak at the gaskets when cold (whilst small) and seal properly when it warms up?
If the solid pipe is a no go, which stainless steel flexi pipe should I go for?
I want to get it right this time!!
Thanks.

I have a H&S slip jointed up-pipe just removed due to my Gruppe-s headers going on, I never had any problems with it blowing at the joints/gaskets. I'm looking for £85 delivered if its what you are looking for.
Thanks.
Thanks.
