Default differences between newage WRX and STI inlet manifolds....

are there any significant differences? design, performance (unlikely)

If UK ones then only red paint.
JDM STi ones have no TGV valves, just the divider wall but Spec C manifolds are one piece items that come with a larger diam inlet hose - these are the ones to go for.
See Shauns write up sticky at the top about how good the Spec C inlet hose is.
AS to performance, there is a TGV removal thread on SN and plenty on NASIOC about it.

Thanks Nick, i dontthink ill bother swapping them over to be honest....sounds like a lot of hassle for very little extra.

It seems that the TGV delete may have been a bit of a waste of time on my car.
If you are going to try and run at 400 bhp plus then the extra cross-sectional area and potential max. air flow (if useable?), from removing the TGVs & porting may help you though.

if only some proper flow work could be done to show what TGV deletes and inlet porting does/doesn't acheive then we'd be the wiser.
