hks induction
Hi is the hks air filter really that bad as ive been given one thats a month old but dont want to fit it due to all the bad things ive red on this site. You never hear anything bad about them when they are fitted to skylines or evos

I've been running an HKS Power filter (panel filter) in mine for over a year. No problems yet..... (touch wood)
I've seen the test, and I'm keeping an eye on it, but I'm not overly concerned. I think the Green cotton is better, but I'll stick with HKS for now. They use the same filtration in all their filters, I think if there was a major problem, we'd have heard by now.

its the MAF sensor in the my99 on impreza's that are to blame for the horror stories, they are damaged by the oil used in oiled filters.
especially the my99-00 MAF, if you so much as look at it the wrong way its knackered
all the MAF sensors before this are fine and are very robust.
