hi to u all

please could someone help i have fitted this dump valve to a 94 wrx. i had the fitting kit and think i have fitted it right. instead of a wooshing noise i get a half hearted pathetic so called woosh. the only thing that has confused me when fitting was there are three small tubes form the plenum so instead of connecting direct to the plennum i have connected to the plastic tee peice could this cause a problem?
please help
