Default fmic....air intake

just so you know what i'm talking about 95 wrx import wagon

is their any way of keeping my panel filter, and plumbing the fmic(hybrid type ebay jobbie)

i know the answer probily is no.

what induction kit would you recomend, i need one that wont let in too much dust, suck up too much air making my engine run lean and blowing it up. and most important one that wont need a remap. (as i'll probily have to buy a remapable ecu like a apexi)

No, you cant keep the o.e airbox.

Ignore the HKS and Blitz ones as filtration is not great.

K&N based or Apexi are good. Beware of the massive K&N types from RCM,GGR etc as you will have a big problen closing your bonnet with one of these and a hybrid.

I have a normal K&N 57i on mine with a hybrid, works fine and no clearance problems.

with a FMIC and a induction kit you most certainly will require a remap to be safe.

Try a cocunut cut in half. Loads cheaper and you can do the "runaway" gag.

you have to be extremely sad and ****, and have no mates to boot.

I rebuilt it a year ago so it was all spotless and cleaned then. at the time all the brackets bits and bobs were powder coated etc. i just keep on top of it now with CD2 and a wipe over when poss. car gets used every day rain/shine
