Hi just brought a blitz dump valve and it comes with two cones for different noise ,ones like a filter, unfortunatley the instruction manual is in japenese .Can anyone tell me the difference between the two cones ta.

ye i have, dontr bother with thefilter, its for drivibng past old peoples homes!!! seriously leave the filter off, thats all its there for is \to deaden the sound slightly

 

thanks for the reply taken it off, is it normal to get different sounds from the dump valve depending on revs when changing gear? I have a full decat exhaust and was hoping it would be poping on the overrun but as yet theres non pity lol

 

What car have you fitted it on? My SSQV started the car popping and banging, but obviously the exhausts needs to have heated up and the car is modified as well

The different noises are the amount of boost being "dumped" at different revs, nothing unusual there
