Done it but not sure of the results yet. It's been so cold lately I doubt it makes much difference. We'll see come the summer. Still, it's nice to at least make an effort LOL

I got it off someone on here, can't remember who now, but it's carbon fibre, cos I didn't want a shiny silver thing showing up in there.

Can you only get these for the straight intercoolers or can they be used on the earlier slanted types too?

Scooby-si organised a group buy a long time ago for these splitters in alloy and carbon fibre.

Think he got the parts from http://www.performancecarbon.co.uk/c...ccessories.htm

Zerosports also produce a splitter that replaces the entire OEM part

Before fitting a Zerosport splitter to the Legacy I drove the car at various speeds and did some quick I/C surface temp measurements. I reasonably replicated the test after fitting and the overall surface temperature was lower and the front of the I/C was much cooler than without the splitter.
I got mine as a group buy; if anyone's thinking of organising one then put me down for one for our new Forester.

Regards Obi

Yes that was it, I contacted Scooby si and he put me onto Performance Carbon who made me one. He also did slam panel/rad top covers and pulley covers as well, but money was tight so I only got the scoop splitter.
