fuel in oil?
Hi all! been having prolems with my newly built 2.5. An injector o-ring got damaged when fitting new injectors and caused the cylinder to fill with fuel, then got itself into my oil,im assuming past the rings. The oil level was twice what it should be cos of this!
My question is would this cause huge amounts of smoke when running, also spluttering and and missfire? just drained the oil, which was really thin, but not had a chance to buy more.
Also, will the lamda sensor be ok?I've not driven the car, only had it at idle so hopfully not done any damage!
Thanks,Tim

If as you say the oil level was near double than there is a good chance that the engine as consumed some oil through the engine breather system, hence the smoke. Get some cheapish oil and flush the engine through a few times to remove any contaminated oil that is stil in the engine.

I've not got a cat,so no probs there! Just got some oil from a mate, now car won't start! I've got fuel, injectors are pulsing, have a spark,i did take the cam sensor off and turned the engine over to get oil around the engine,it's back on but no joy! Also cleaned the lambda sensor.
Think im going to give up this tinkering lark and do somthing im good at!
