Thats what i thought I have changed it for a supposidly good second hand one and its still the same. Guess I need to change it for a new one and hope for the best as It could just be a waste of money if it doesnt do anything, was wondering if it could be anything else I could check first.

What resistance should a good water temp sender have? would be good just to test it that way

Yep, think im gonna have to spend some money and hopefully it'll fix it. Knowing my luck though it wont, wish there was a way of testing them to check if the one I have is knackered
