Default AWD Power ratio to wheels.

Just wondering how the power is divided between the wheels on a 1995 Classic.

The ratio between front and rear, and also what power loss percentage is there on a AWD system from flywheel to wheels.

Cheers Robert.

AFAIK, it's roughly a 50-50 split between front and rear.

As a guide to the transmission losses, my 320 bhp at the fly results in 250 at the wheels.
So roughly 20-25% loss in power, but I believe this will increase slightly as the engine power is increased.
