pedal travel

Question pedal travel

ive noticed from time to time my brake pedal can be soft travels down more than normal or it can be quite hard this isnt when im in traffic so im not pumping them up to make them hard!got the car last november from main dealer they serviced it brake fluid was on the service they checked pads/ disc/ its booked in with them next week told them on phone wots happening well told receptionist just wondered if anyone has come across this or has any ideas i no its going in to them but i like to no in advance also they might try to bull**** me if they ve missed something with the service and its there fault? thanks in advance its a 04 model wrx if that has any baring on it

Possibly a front wheel bearing enabling the disc to move about and push the pistons back into the caliper.Had this on mine a while ago.
