Question MY95 Boost Solenoid Pipes

Hi Everybody..
Iv recently bought myself a Classic WRX wagon but im having a few problems so i was hoping someone could help me here...
My car had a dodgy boost valve fitted, so i removed it and realised the boost solenoid wasn't connected to any pipes/hoses.. My solenoid has three connections(two off the bottom, one off the top)
So it would be great if someone could help me out here and tell me where these should be connected to, Also iv noticed i have a few oil leaks..One onto the bottom left heat sheild, and one on the bottom right (both at the front of the engine...
Much appreciated

oil leaks sound like rocker cover gasket as for boost can you get a few pics up to show where every thing is pipe wise

top connection on solenoid goes to the turbo outlet nipple (near where the intercooler pipe connects to the turbo) the next down connection on the boost solenoid (also pointing in the same direction as the top connection) goes to the waste gate actuator.. the bottom connection is a vent and connects to the black plastic box resonator between the rubber 90degree corregated pipe on the turbo and the black rubber elbow that curves to the maf sensor / air box.

Oil leaks sound like rocker cover gaskets or at worst cam oil seals..

Well guys thanx for your help on this matter..sorry iv been slack in replyin
Iv been rectifying another problem as the top pipe split on the rad however the rad itself is fine so flushed her out and mixed 50/50 coolant/water.
Iv been toying the idea of fitting a manual boost controller( not the one i had previously fitted)
Would i be wise to go with this idea ie for a cleaner boost & what is a safe boost limit(in psi pls )
Also my local mechanic/friend passed me on some seal conditioner as used by bmw, however if i need to replace the rocker cover gasket can this be done while the engine in situ or does the lump have to be dropped for the job?
Oh one more thing what gaskets/seals (in total) do i need for this job??

P.S. anybody recommend an established scooby specialist in my area (n.lincs)
Your help is very useful peeps...

well for now iv cleaned out my manual boost controller that was on the car..it seems to be holding about 14psi in 5th gear, but im wondering if a tale i was told might be true..?? An assistant at a local shop where i bought my oil from told me by not having my solenoid connected i could be at risk of running my car too rich..or even too lean!!?? is this true??
Oh also iv just changed my oil on both the transmission and engine.
I have to say its done my wagon the world of good putting in castrol syntrax in the box, and duckhams semi synth 10w 40 in the engine..
