had a little bit of a race tonight on the duel carrigeway with another car. wasnt too hard on it, was just 4 and 5th gear bit of acceleration.
got home and thought i heard something, so gave it a little rev, thats when i heard a knocking coming from the bottom end.
what usually goes ? will i get away with shells? or do subarus bad for worse things happening? cranks etc?
will strip it down next week for a look,, but wondered if anyone knows or has had the same sort of thing happen?
oh oil pressure has dropped down too so somethings deff up.

its a 1998 sti type r by the way with 64000miles

 

subarus are pretty bad for this, mines about to be rebuilt due to this, if your lucky it'll just be shells, crank and a rod, if your unlucky like me it'll be a complete bottom end inc block!
