Need some help spending £2k.....
Hi all, im looking to spend about £2k on my00 UK Turbo, its completely standard at mo apart from an STI backbox & 18'' wheels.
Any advice on what to buy or what not to buy, plus where to buy & get fitted, would be greatly appreciated. Id like to spread the money between handling & performance.
Thanks, Ben.

Really need to know how you intend to use the car. Fast roads, track days, Sunday drive with the Mother in Law in tow?
For fast road AST suspension & full geo set up & upgraded brake discs, pads & braided hoses will use your 2k. For track days add AP brakes at an other 1.5.
btw, a driving course would be good move as well

Easy this: In order of priority:
1
Chassis
Assuming it to be a road 'daily driver' spec:
Whiteline roll bars
Anti lift kit
Camber bolts
Good tyres and a very good alignment job.
Contact Powerstation, talk to Curtis or Rich or Andy.
Contact David www.apiengines.com
Do a one-stop-shop deal with them?
Spent: £800.
2
Engine:
De cat down pipe and good system (TSL or Milltec)
Good ECU (Apexi Fc/AndyF/Zen performance map)
Sti filter
Good clutch(?)
Contact David at www.apiengines.com
Contact Powerstation (do a deal with them for the lot)
Costs: £1100
3
Insurance hike: £100 extra.
Job done.
Graham.
