Tubro Upgrade???
Am thinkin of upgrading my 95 wrx import's turbo any idea's?
A straight bolt on would be nice with increased performance.
Preferably at a resonable price.

Speak to Andy Forrest, V Highly respected. Check his site out for yourself! and the turbo section. You chose to use the wrong words in the same sentence, these being "Reasonable" and "Performance" a good secondhand unit would cost you anything from £500 upwards at my estimation!! You would then probably have to have the car mapped which could cost around the same!!

i would be more inclined to have a scooby ecu fitted to begin with, along with a full decat if you dont already have one - thats the downpipe from the turbo all the way through to the back box. fit a walbro 255 litre per hour fuel pump and have a remap. thats the quickest and cheapest way to decent power with your car.
it already has the TD05 turbo, which is a fairly large turbo for the application and has bags more to offer than it currently is. Andy F's turbos are well respected, but its more of a question of how much you want to spend and what sort of power you are after.

Personally if I was upgrading the turbo, I'd go for his TD04 hybrid.
It keeps the quick spool up but has the capabilty to produce more
BHP.
Oh, and in his recent test, back to back against the TD05, it kicked
it's **** !!!
