Default help please flatspot

ive got a classic sti555 and when i try and give it full throtle it holds back for a bit and splutters before it goes. ive changed the plugs on advice to iridium and using a good octain booster which has helped a bit, has anyone got any advice please??????:

what year is the car? could be coilpacks if its an early one!

had same thing myself... coilpacks seem to fix it.

if it comes on to full boost and the spluttering stops i dont think it will be the coil packs!

but then i coul be wrong!

thanx guys ive had it checked and put in some iridium plugs plus changed petrol only use bp super now and a good octane boost, done the job its gone now.
