hi all, have a bit of an emergency! have spent last hour and a half installing an aps top mount intercooler in my 2003 sti, everything is normal as far as i can see, but when i took the car out to test it when i floored it it made the most evil squealing noise and so had to trickle home. whats going on here, any help would be most appreciated! cheers

 

Squeeling could be compressor surge. If so it's probably down to a restriction downstream of the compressor. If the IC is new and undamaged and all the pipework is ok id start looking for white smoke from your exh. which might indicate a knackered turbo.
