hopefully someone can shed some light for me.
im about to buy a 1996 wrx v limited.
first registered on 1 april 1996
number 553/1000

can anyone give me info on what exactly this car is??
as im slightly confused wether its a standard wrx or like my subaru book says its a v-limited based on a wrx sti ra.
any help would be greatly appreciated

There was two V-limited models for the 1996 Wrx. The first (the one you are looking at) is based on the Wrx. The V-limited part means it is 'sports' blue usually (can also be white or black), gold STi wheels, standard ABS, is one of a 1000 run, has embriodered(sp?) seats and a couple of badges. Mechanically the same as a 'normal' Wrx.

The other one starts of as a STi type Ra (I have this one), is one of 555, is only blue.
