Default Offside Rocker Cover Gasket on a New Age

Found lots of threads talking about gasket failure on the classic but mine is being replaced tomorrow and it's a MY03 WRX with 20k on the clock.

Anyone else had their's on a new age?

Incidentally full decat fitted yesterday 'co-incidentally???' before it occured and a TEK2 a couple of months back.

Nothing to do with the gasket. Now you have had the full de-cat fitted I am sure that you are going to need a re-map as the breathing characteristics, Boost gradient and what ever else that can be affected will have changed. Could be worth speaking to the people who originally mapped your ECU before any major engine damage occurs.

no the gasket is leaking oil, car has also been mapped and was informed that a TEK 2 would pick up the decat and be fine, as does the standard chip.

Had it fixed today, it wasn't the gastket but the plastic 'end' to one of the cams which was broken during the fitting of the up-pipe
