Yesterday i changed my Fuel Pump for a 255LPH pump. I removed the old one with no problems and replaced it with the new one. Now when i trun the igition the fuel pump does not sound and does not work. (like there is nothing starting it). There is no problem with the pump as i was able to borrow a friends pump which works and once again this does the same in my car. I have a TOAD alarm on the car, and thought it might be this imobilissing the pump, but i took the battery off over night and still nothing.

Any suggestions ???

 

My mate had a similar problem after a few days of having an uprated pump fitted, same thing when he turned the ignition, pump didnt prime. Apparently it was the fuse and you are supposed to put a different fuel pump fuse in if you uprate the pump, or so he told me??? Worked for him though!
