Default please ID this car

I just purchased this car from japan

and it is on the boat to me in st lucia as we speak I am wanting to get some parts for it and am confused as I am unable to tell if this is a "facelifted " sti or not I want to upgrade the lights and go to a carbon hood but without knowing if it has the newer grill or not im at a loss as how to continue?
can anyone help me?

That is an STI v3 which is the facelift model but it has a later MY99-00 bumper but the old headlights, it looks to have been quite heavily modified.

HI Jon, welcome to Scoobynet..... the description says made in 1996, which would seem right, but it has been facelifted with the newer bonnet, grill lights and bumper from a 99/00 car, it also clearly has the 4 pot brakes from the later cars aswell... although the STI3 may have had them..??

Anyway, enjoy it when you get it!!

wow thanks for the quick response since you guys are in the know can you help me id some of the mods?. I see an apexi ecu controller on the dash but the rest I cant ID.

nope 95 ron will be the end of the engine please remember this

Default what to do about the fuel

so what are my options? fuel here in st lucia is usally around 95-97. octane booster?

Looks like its got a custom made intercooler and a Blitz SUS induction kit.

I think it's a Type RA, it's got a roof flap.

It says its a GC8DE4D, which means it is either a STIv3 or STI v3 V-limited, it has a roof vent, so I'd guess its the V limited
