Default can i get 350hbp with standard STI TMIC?

hi everyone

been looking for some more BHP on my Bugeye STI JDM, saw the WRC 350 package, needs a APS TMIC and APS induction.... do i really need them for a reliable 350?? have been told the standard air box is enough for 400bhp?? any other ways for 350 ??

my current mods :

3'' ZeroSport downpipe
3'' FGK cat back
Walbro pump
K&N panel filter
pfrb7 plugs
TEK3 map

the TEK3 map was done when the downpipe and fuel pump fitted, before the catback system...

many thanks
kevin

You cant be too far off 350bhp at the moment with those mods and with it being a JDM STi.

CW42,

What are the other supporting mods you have/need to get to that figure?

Cheers,

Wayne.

A trip to Powerstation, and after a full Milltek 3" exhaust with sports cat downpipe, 3 port boost solenoid and k&n panel filter fitted, it's onto the rollers for the ecutek 3 remap

Powerstations figures were well down on Prosport though, but either way:
331/291 powerstation
350/343 prosport
the car drives like a ballistic missile

Cheers Chris,

Any idea what turbo/injectors and boost you run?

I have a classic with the same TMIC and was wondering how far away my spec was from yours. I have no idea of my hp/torque figures yet.

I think you will find that the stock TMIC will give one or 2 power runs at 350 and then over heat so giving diminishing power.
My Sti v3 ran at Well Lane last year:
5 Runs in succession

356/385/407/390/380

first one was to settle the car and then the equally hard runs.

Same car at Powerstation, one power run = 380 bhp.

All these with an Sti v8 TMIC, now sold and anHybrid FMIC added.
