Smile what would I get???'

Hello. I have my 97 turbo standard td04,downpipe ful de-cat exhaust with supersprint back box, K&N panel filter, walbro fuel pump...........

I want to put a ecutek....
but what figures can i get with all that???
and must i change or uprate some other part to make the car more reliable?'

A 97 cant be ecutek'd gonna have to be a apexi pfc or a chip

oooo i didnt know that.

what kind of chip??
i thought that just pre 96 can be chiped.

can someone tell me more about chiping and apex pfc?????

I went the apexi route on my UK97 which Andy F supplied and mapped. Ignoring every other mod that I added to the car this was the one that really was pound for pound the best.

Depending on what figures you are after I found that 290 bhp was about the maximum I could get out of the TD04. I therefore upgraded to the TD05 FE which was relatively cheap (£300.00) and once I had the map achieved 320 bhp and 300lbs torque.
