Default Upping the Power on a WR1

Hiya peeps, im new here to the forum, forum looks really good.
Im looking to find out what mods can be done to the WR1 to up the power.
Not looking to spend thousands having crazy engine mods done, but affordable things that could be done to take the BHP up abit.
Car already has a dump valve on and thats it.

Advice is much appreciated.

Thanks Very much

Regards Mike.

Default upgrade

I would change the exhaust to a 3'' turbo back, ecutek remap, should release abit more horses up to around 340bhp, if you have alittle more money i would change the turbo to a td05 18g all this should give you around 370 bhp, alot better driving car and way faster

£600-£1k for zorst and ~£1k for turbo inc the dreaded. £650 for mapping so budget £3k.

As for reliability, your clutch may complain as well as your brakes. Oil change at 3-6k miles depending upon drive style and you should be OK engine wise. Get some monitoring stuff to keep an eye on the oily bits too.

Warranty - kiss good bye!

Ive just bought a second hand 20G turbo (£580)
Plan to upgrade exhaust to 3" including decat downpipe (£500.00)
Harvey ported headers and up pipe (wrapped - not priced yet)
Some form of air induction (budgeted £200)
Andy F remap (350)

Informed I should see about 380 with similar torque (maybe a bit more) which is good for me.

Hoping to have all done for approximately £2500.00
