Default stuttering ra

Has anybody else had this prob,
on 2nd gear upwards and on hard acceleration the car pulls like a train but then stutters, still keeps pulling but not as crisp as on initial throttle push, when it stutters it can be heard out the exhaust.
Is it coil packs or just getting to much fuel,
Any info on this would be great

Martin

First thought is coil packs. Does it always do it at the same revs or is it quite random?

not to sure, do know that in second from 4-6000rpm is when it has prob, seems to be getting worse over te last couple of weeks. But saying that it doesn't do it all the time???
Going to test it out on road later so i can see revs and boost gauge

Does sound like it could be coil/lead/plug breaking down...... may even be fuel starvation however. Age and state of fuel filter & plugs ??
