Default Actual BHP?!

Newbie question! Could anyone tell me what bhp my car should be, as i have tried to find out, but have so far come up with various answers ranging from 265 to 310!.The car is an 02 (Bugeye) WRX STI PPP UK-Style in un-modified state. All i know is that it feels bloody fast compared to the 110hp Scirocco i used to own, and the other end of the spectrum compared to the 44hp beach buggy!!

Hmmm Factory HP!! Great for quoting but usually never appears quite that way on the rollers. As with anything take Quoted HP figures with a pinch of salt and always expect the lower end of the scale, that way you will not be too dissapointed should you not acheive them!!

Yep, Tony's on the money.

Standard Bugeye:

WRX - 215
STi - 255-260
STi PPP - 295-300

Thanks for the replies; I was hoping for nearer 300 than the 265 that the last owner thought it was!! He looked after the car when it came to servicing and maintenance, but i don't really think he knew exactly what he had!! I might look into some minor mods in the future, but for now around 300 will do nicely thank-you!!
