Getting Touched Up (oo er)
#1
My bonnet has two or three stone chips on it. Anybody got any hints on touching it up so that I can get the bonnet back to just like new - in the past my efforts have been quite visible, but that was only on an Escort!!
Thanks!!
PS Guess the first hint is not to use the brush in the lid of the paint - it's so not delicate that you could almost cover the entire bonnet in one sweep!!

Are you sure you have a Subaru? I can't understand how you have only 2 or 3 chips?
Take it to a dealer immediately to get them to respray it in official Subaru 'metal flake' paint, then you can have that wonderful sandblasted effect that the rest of us have!

PS go to the wax wizard site for a download on stone chip repairs.
