Default Wiring Z32 MAF sensor ( with it's own plug ) to a scooby classic?

Looking for advice on the best way to wire in a Z32 MAF using it's own plug and a few wire tails, to the scooby loom; I really wanna leave it so I can revert to a std scooby MAF if needed so no cut and solder ideas really please!

Can I get a Scooby MAF plug ( erm socket!! so scooby loom plug/sockets goes to the z32 wires) and wire that to the Z32 plug.

How do the wires go .. colour to colour or position no. to position no.on each MAF??

Cheers

Neil

Seeing as no one has THE answer I suggest you unfortunatly need to cut and solder.. but I would solder both plugs on.. then you can swtich between.

Not sure on the wiring but would imagine it is the same colour.

I would if possible take the pins out of the Subaru connector and push them into the nissan connector. what pins go where will depend on what year of subaru you have.

Cheers Paul & Simon, I'll have a look at the weekend and do a dummy fit.

It is a phase 1 MY 94-96 wagon but modded a bit..!

Is it safe on PFC to simply set airflow setting on no.3 with this larger diameter MAF, or best to wait for the remap before running with it?

I will be okay to drive off load, but I would wait for a remap if you can. Even on boost it will be close, but it might be the piston melting side of close if you push it.

Vulnax,
I did as Paul suggests on my My94, Your year of car on the Z32 Maf is a like for like on the plug. Just De-solder the plugs from the Mafs, Swap over replace & solder like for like

Works a treat

There's more wires on the Z32 MAF than the scooby maf plug! 6 wires on the Z32, ( black/white, red/white, green/yellow, 2 black and a thicker dark gey ), going to 6 pins. Sure there are 4 on the scooby?

I wonder if there are different Z32 mafs - how would I tell?? and which one would I need for the 1994 scooby!

Nissan Z32 maf has 5410C on the silver label on the maf element.

Any help ??
