Hi,

When I turn the ignition key in the morning, all the lights on my 93 wrx dash come on(check engine, oil, battery etc) as usual, but when I try to start the car, it dies and the oil light goes off. The car eventually starts but only on the fifth or sixth attempt.
Also, when i go to turn the engine off at times, the turbo timer won't count down, and the engine won't turn itself off. When the engine is off, the dash lights stay on after I have taken the keys out. Would this be linked to the oil light going off?
I would be very grateful for any help on the above

my car never started this morning dont know if its the cold cold weather and maby my battery wasnt up to it?

Checked my oil n it seemed very low, so hope i havnt picked up a bad leak or anything.

Never got time to do anything else as needed to get to work. But will c if i can fix it after work.

Do u have any update on how the car goin?

 

First thing i would do in the weather is put the battery on a full charge or get it test. the alternater can never charge it to full.

How much dose the scoob hold for oil? 4l ish?
