i have had a oil leak for nearly a week, only a small amount, but when i have just looked that was the thing that was mostly covered in oil. it definatly is oil and not gearbox oil (smell). The thing i have took a closup pic of has about 6 or so metal pipes going into it but i aint a clue what it is.
Cheers,
Bri

Looks like power steering fluid leaking at the unions, they are same as brake pipe ones, you can try to nip them up a bit with a spanner.
Also be sure to check your power steeing fluid level, on a new age the res is low down front left of the engine bay, not sure if it's same on a classic, do keep an eye on the level.
Mine leak a little, but it's so negligable I've not bothered with it..

Yes, it will look and feel like oil... check the res, if it is down a bit, you'll need to get yourself some power steering fluid from Halfrauds or any motor factor..
