Hi guys i have a 95 import impreza, the power steering pump has been leaking for a while but its bout time i sorted it, have tried local subaru garage but as soon as u say its an import they dont really wanna know. I bought a second hand pump off ebay which was said to be fine but after fitting it it must have had a bad leak cus it was drawing in a lot of air and steering was **** so am a bit wary of second hand pumps.

Anybody know how much a new pump is and where to get one from??

The pump resevoir is round and not square if this helps cheers

Where's it leaking from? There's an 'O' ring between the resovoir and pump take off that can perish...

On the classic Impreza the pumps are all the same just with different resovoirs, I'm not sure about the new car's age pump, but parts for fitting the remote resovoir they use can certainly be transfered accross
