Default fuel sender resistance? rating (Ohms)

As part of my project im considering fitting an autometer sport comp fuel gauge. These are available in a range of Ohm ratings for different applications. Although im not at the stage of fitting the guage I am at the stage of making the tank - and I need to decide whether or not to use the subaru sender I have kicking around so to check compatibility with the proposed guages ........

Where cna I find out the Ohm rating of my fuel level sender? - I imagine all years are the same but mines from a L reg (93 Turbo) if it makes a difference. Or is there some way of measuring it?

Cheers in advance
Rich
