Default oil leak

Hi,

I have suddenly developed an oil leak, i was out in my car last night and giving it a bit of stick, but nomore than i usually do.

I have had a quick look tonight under the car and noticed a wet patch towards the back of the engine bay. i recently had a service (last week) and thought that might be the problem, but i since found this......

have a closer look and tell me if that could be the cause...

Could the nut on the top of the hose just work loose? if so, can i just simply tighten it to see if it stops?

Cheers,

Bri

i think you should be ok giving it a go but dont go too mad tho, if it feels tight already then id say leave it as i wouldnt of thought that it would be touched in a service

Nipping it up may work, dunno why it would have come lose though.... maybe the washer (copper) had mysteriously split or something...?

Gotta be worth checking it with a spanner at the very least, just in case it's really lose, after-all, you don't want it falling out and losing the oil pressure on the whole engine..... you'd be replacing more than just the turbo if that happened....!!!
