Bigger Brakes question
Hi All,
Can I bolt on a set of front 4 pot calipers from a 2003 WRX onto my 1993 WRX classic? (I have the discs and pads etc) Just need to know if I need a modded bracket or ir the brake hoses need changing or modding.
Many thanks in advance for any help :-)

if the 2003 calipers are the subaru 4 pots with the word subaru written down the side then yes you can,ive just changed the front 2 pots on mine to later 4 pots..... see my post in the gallery section "2 pots gone brake upgrade done"
straight forward upgrade, canuse the original brake hoses just need the 4 pots and bigger discs that go with them
if not the subaru 4 pots i have no idea.......

The front brakes (4 pot) from a wrx 2003 will bolt on.
The other thing you might need to look at are your wheels, depending which type you have. Some 16" alloy's will catch the 4 pot caliper.
MY99/00 standard alloys will work fine.
You could also use the rear 2 pots calipers, disk & pads from the wrx 2003 but you will need a special bracket for this. (Dyney group buy)

Thanks for the info lads! I'll bolt then on tomorrow when the missus is out! he he
I have rear calipers but don't yet want to afford the brackets as I was told they cost about £150. when search is back up I'll have a look at the thread. I was going to try and fabricate my own as I have a workshop at my disposal etc.
Cheers again for the help!
