A 2 piece system would be Downpipe - Centre combined with backbox
If he's your mate, just borrow it and place it up next to your existing system that it replaces and see what it looks like, if it looks like it will fit then try to do so as its a very quick job to do.

The classic is 3 pieces: Downpipe, Centre and Backbox.
Ive just replaced my downpipe on Saturday so im now fully decatted why not pop round and ill take you out.....
