Unhappy Need help on fitting a dump valve

To fit a dump valve do i just block one pipe off and put the dump valve on the other, then the skinny pipe that comes from the top of the dump valve i know where that goes, do i need any more pipes bumged up or anything.

That isnt my car by the way its somebodys off here

Looking at that picture it looks pretty straight forward but somebody said i might need to bloke a pipe for the actuator ?

The only time you have to block a pipe is when you change a recirculating dump valve to a atmospheric dump valve, as the recirculating type feeds the air back to the pipe between the air filter and turbo. So if left open air would be sucked in bypassing the air filter and the air flow sensor. Result being air with dirt and the engine thinking you are taking it nice and easy when you are actually giving it plenty, causing lean mixture and engine go bang. That is my understanding, Steve.

think he's just mad. If its not a recirc, just blank of the hole that is left in the intake assembly, connect the hose from the intercooler pipework onto the dump valve and then connect the vacuum feed.
