Default Subaru Impreza Sport

Hi there guys im looknig at getting a subaru impreza sport in the next couple of days and am looking for some advice.

Im onlt 18 and started off in a saxo vtr and whilst trying to sell it i was offered a swap for a subaru impreza sport, i fort WTF, and then i fort, yeah that could work, for an 18yr old a turbo was out of the question so i researched the car and found the sports are the non turbos... gr8! gimme gimme, i valued the car at 2400 ish, about the same i want to sell my saxo for, and that was with the hile mileage, and thats where my question comes in... its done 111k miles on a R plate, with a full service histort with cam belt changed at 85k and a new clutch recently, would this be a worthwhile swap, and a worthwhile step on the way towards a wrx sti or similar?

Obviosuly all me 18yr buddys are telling me to get it so badly but any advice on the car with this mnay miles and anything to look out for when i go and hvae a look at it.

thanks guys.

mate i would check out your insurance first. Even on a sport they can be expensive to insure.

when i was 18 i got an MR2, paid £900 insurance... you really need to wait a few months for that 1 years No claims. as for milage... if serviced often it will be fine.

Wouldn't worry about the mileage if it's been looked after. My dad's sport has done 203,000 miles with few problems......compare that to my wrx sti which has gone pop after 42,000!! Would recommend "Bell" insurance - were very cheap for me on the sti and I'm only 22. Good luck.
