Default Engine Smell

Hi Guys,

I know that engine smells have been discussed on here before. I've mentioned and few others have said that the scooby smells 'hot' after a mildly energetic run. However, I often find that when I come to a junction and stop for a moment, if I have my blowers on, I can smell the engine quite a bit? Is this normal?
Its a 96 uk turbo, so I suppose the old boys getting a bit old now

I've just had the same problem and it turned out to be the rocker cover gasket leeking and dripping oil onto the uppipe. Worth a look, only a cheap job if it is that!!
