Default which is the better turbo

A VF24 or a VF30, also whats the diff between them..

There is no answer to the first question!

The VF30 has the same exhaust housing as the VF24 but a larger compressor. The VF24 has ample bottom end power and spools faster than the VF30. The VF30 is not as slow as the VF22, but it has more lag compared to the VF24. On the other hand it has more output potential and it is proberly one of the best buys amoung the IHI VF turbos.

fast spool <- VF24 - VF30 - VF22 -> power

Generel problem for the IHI VF turbos I think is if something break you have to bye a new one.... You cannot repair them like the TD turbos

consider mhi td series, my own experience of ihi vf** series is that the compressor wheels may as well have been forged from chocolate
