Lightbulb ECU HELP

I'm looking either to get a prodrive ecu or apexi power fc for my car.
It's a W reg 2000 Uk Turbo with full dicat and filter.

(1) If i purchase a used PPP ecu, will i need to get it remapped before fitting?

(2) I have been offerd a apexi power fc from a 1997 uk turbo 3 pin ecu. Will this fit my car?

Thanks in advance

97 Apexi won't fit.

you need a 99~00 Apexi PFC.

the map and ecu will be if it is the right year.. not sure if the 99~00 has an immobiliser built into the ecu.. if it does then you may need your key reprogrammed.. the 97~98 does but not sure how they did the immobiliser on the 99~00.
