MOTs in 2006?
Just got email from Scoobyworld.co.uk advertising their new Ninja downpipe:-
>>>
Ninja Downpipe with Integrated Fast Flow Sports Catalytic Converter!
In 2006 MOT testing stations will be using electronic sensors to test your car’s emissions, meaning exhaust systems with Fast Flow Sports Cats will become essential for staying road legal and providing excellent power gains.
<<<
Whats all this business about the new electronic sensors blah blah? Does this mean all us de-cat boys are going to have trouble even at our friendly MOT stations?
Cheers

Just had mine MOT'd by my 'friendly' MOT station. He just entered a CO2 limit that was acceptable!
They have to input your details into the DVLA computer at the start of the test...... test the car ........ then enter the test info. It all takes 1 hour. The tester must take or appear to take 1 hour for each MOT. The MOT certificate will only print out after exactly 1 hour!!!!!!
If you know a friendly MOT tester then I would imagine you haven't got anything to worry about!!
