What ecu this is???
Hi guys
While i was fumbling about inside my engine bay i was looking at the label on the turbo its a MY94 STI and it has a TD05 H stamped on it is that the right turbo for this car?.
Any ideas what the H stands for?
Also was looking at the ecu and the label read SA with a code saying A19-000-RZO looking at the circuit board there's no room to fit any piggyback chips, any ideas what family of ecu's this is from cos i thought Z4 ecu's where fitted to this year of car?
Cheers

The ECU code 'SA' is correct for STI v1 sedans manufactured from Nov 1992 - Aug 1994. The 'Z4' was fitted for WRX sedans manufactured from Sept 1994 - August 1996 and for STI v2 sedans manufactured from July 1995 - August 1996.
See http://www.jprova.co.jp/product/engine/ecu.html (all dates are specified in year of the emperor format, just add the specified number of years to 1988).

SA is correct, the STi RA has an SB.
Both these ECU have already got a chip fitted by STi, which was done off-line at STi.
The STi 2 and STi 2 RA (^K and 7K ECU) do not have a chip fitted, as they were part of the production line at Subaru.
Both the SA and SB chips do run rather lean though at the top end.
