Default Found two fuel maps, is this right - Euro MY03 WRX

I've been validating the reverse engineered hex addresses of my Euro MY03 WRX. In doing this I came across what appears to be two fuel maps. They are only slightly different. The above ROM image is stock (no 'external mods'). Does anyone know what this is all about (see illustrations below)? Someone over on OpenECU.org thought it might be the high and low det fuel maps? Are they both used? If so, under what conditions?

Illustration 1 (first fuel map):
FUEL_RPM_START = 0x20C74;
FUEL_RPM_STOP = 0x20C93;
FUEL_LOAD_START = 0x20C95;
FUEL_LOAD_STOP = 0x20CB4;
FUEL_START = 0x20CB7;
FUEL_STOP = 0x20DB6;

Illustration 2 (other fuel? map):

FUEL_RPM_START = 0x20DB7;
FUEL_RPM_STOP = 0x20DD6;
FUEL_LOAD_START = 0x20DD8;
FUEL_LOAD_STOP = 0x20DF7;
FUEL_START = 0x20DFA;
FUEL_STOP = 0x20EF9;

Thanks in advance for any advice,
-Steve.

I would probably agree that they are Hi and Lo Det maps.
AFAIK, The 1999/2000 ECU has a Main Fuel map and a Hi and Lo Det, fuel Compensation map. So the later ECU probably has something similar, if not better.
