Default cooling system - Water

When you change the coolant in your motor does everyone just mix coolant with tap water and fill her up.

I have access to RO water, or purified (filtered) water that I use in large quantities for my aquariums, would it be better to use this than tap water, as I live in a hard water area? Have been advised to use de-ionised water but can only find this from a medical supplies place at £6 a litre, thats more expensive than the damn coolant!!!

BTW - is not for the Scooby, its for the 944.

Do you have a dehumidifier?
If you do, you can use the water from that

Haven't got a dehumidifier, and dont know anyone who has. Good point though - wouldn't have thought of that!
