hello mate,

what year is the car??

if its a classic shape you could check the main central locking box which is located in the passenger footwell.(ill try me best to explain)

right,go to the side wall(left) in the footwell then run your hand up the side so your almost under the glove box and tucked up just inside is a little rectangular shaped unit prob about 3/4inches long and 2 wide.disconnect it and it will have it written on the side.

hope this helps if you get stuck locating it let me know and ill get a couple of pics up.

good luck.
