Scooby ECU on Ebay
Do a search for 'subaru impreza ECU upgrade' on ebay and found someone putting links to scoobyecu and scoobynet.
Has anybody had these fitted, can anybody enlighten me what they are like?
Cheers! Nick.

Tempted myself as they seem to know what they are talking about and they offer a custom map service too. May take them up on that offer when i get mine back on the road as my wagon with td05 will need a custom map.
If you do go for one i would highly recommend a knocklink (cost about 100 quid) - at least then you will see if the chip is causing det which can kill an engine (i lost an engine to det from a bad chip). You live and learn!

is this the auction for the esl performance one or the one scott taylor sells.
I bought a scoobyecu chip from scott before xmas for my UK car, it is fantastic, i swear i get better fuel economy but just never calculated, i wont ever bother doing it either so i honestly cant tell you.
As for the power difference, there is a fair bit more poke in the thing now, i always maintained classic uk cars were sh*t slow, (which imo they are!!) but not when you stuff this chip along with a open neck downpipe, s/s system and replacment filter.
(Chip was installed b4 the downpipe) That mod made a big difference as well.
should also see some more gains when i fit a front mount next mth.
