Stinking clutch
Hi guys,
Only had my scooby since fri. Wondered if this is normal:-
When pulling away, anything over about 3500rpm kicks out a smell of burning clutch, this is on a 2.0GX. Is this normal? Anything under about 3500 rpm is fine
Thanks in advance
Will

Will,
What you doing launching at 3500rpm +..? I thought you were a sensible lad..
Mine gave a bit of a clutchy smell when launching hard, and when reversing uphill into parking spaces. I either got used to it or it doesn't do it any more...!!
If you think, the clutch is the go between for a AWD system which gives lots of grip and a decent engine, then it's going to work hard. Ease up on those Solberg style launches mate..!! LOL
PS: Welcome to Scoobynet.
