Gauge fitting help required. Appologies for pic size.
As the title suggests I could do with a bit of advice for fitting my gauges. I've got this:
Now i think, once i remove the oil filter, i attach the shiny thing to the block, with the o-rings towards the the block and refit the new oil filter, Cos I'm going to do an oil change at the same time. Am I correct about this?
Also when fitting this:
Could someone tell me what is best to use to fix it to the A-pillar. Don't really want to screw it in, would like a nice tidy job.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Plus any other pointers wouldn't go amiss either.
Cheers in advance.

Does the A-pillar with the gauges fit over your existing one or replace it?
The one I fitted replaced the original,so screwed it on utilising the alarm sensor and original locating lug behind it.
Not sure I like the idea of the sandwich plate
Oh and go steady removing the alarm sensor,as its coaxial wires

Micky instead of using the filter adaptor for the pil pressure and temp gauges you can plumb them into the block.
Under the alternator simply unclip the original oil pressure wire and cable tie it. Remove the oil pressure sensor and replace with the gauge sender and connect leads.
For the oil pressure it looks like you have the right brass adaptor already.
Remove the intercooler and on the drivers side you'll see a plug that'll accept an 8mm allen/hex bit. This can be a bugger to remove so a hex bit a extension socket will be needed. Once out put in the adaptor and screw in the oil temp sender, remembering to use PTFE tape on the threads of all plugs
I think on classics there is a blanked off tube on the throttle body to plumb in the boost gauge. On the newage its simply tapped into the dumpvalve.
